The all new Disney Junior Dance Party features the newer Disney Junior Characters like Vampirina, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Doc McStuffins and Timon from Lion Guard. I love the new show; it\’s high energy and super fun!
The dance party gets started by DJ Deejay playing the popular songs from each show while the host, Finn Fiesta, welcomes each Disney character to the party. The characters go from the screen to the stage by DJ, Finn, and the audience “spinning” them in. Once the character is on stage, DJ and Finn teach everyone a special dance that goes along with each character’s popular song from their show. The kids absolutely love singing along and dancing with Vampirina, Doc, Timon, and Mickey. There are also fun special effects that fall from the ceiling like snow, bubbles, and confetti.
Special tips for viewing this show…With the old show if you were up front, you couldn’t see the puppets very well but with this show I would recommend being near the front. You will be able to see the characters up close, and there is cool interaction during the songs with the camera where your little one can see themselves on the big screen.
Also, if you sit in the back, you don’t get as much snow, bubbles or confetti. If you don’t FastPass this show, I would recommend being among the first people in the stand-by line to enter. On our last trip, we had a FastPass but it was later in the day and my daughter wanted to see the show earlier, so we went in the stand-by line and were toward the back of the room. She definitely wants to be up front on our next visit to better experience the show ,so we will likely use a FastPass.
Overall this is a great update to the attraction and worth your time if you have little ones who are into the Disney Junior shows!
