Favorite Resort: The Polynesian Village Resort is our families’ favorite place to stay. We stayed off property once and vowed never to do that again! Every time we passed the Polynesian on the monorail, we told ourselves we would stay there next time! We returned a year and a half later and the experience was worth the wait! I have also stayed at All Star Sports, Yacht Club, Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter, Wilderness Lodge, Coronado Springs, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach Resort and Boardwalk. They all have great qualities despite their differences. My favorite moderate resort has been Port Orleans French Quarter.
Favorite Restaurant: For character dining, we enjoyed the 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Those Step Sisters and Step Mother are a hoot! We have also been for breakfast and Alice, Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins were our favorite. I have to also been to the Star Wars Weekend Breakfast at Sci Fi and that was very magical because you never see those characters. Our favorite non- character dining would have to be Kona but we want to try some Signature Dining during our upcoming trips.
Favorite Attraction: We have twin boys and their first ride, when they were 2.5 year old, was the Mad Hatter Tea Cups and ever since we have ridden this on our first day at Magic Kingdom. It has been a fun memory. We are huge fans of Star Tours, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Expedition Everest and of course Toy Story Mania! The only ride the boys have not experienced is Rock N Roll Roller Coaster but it is on our “next trip list.”
Favorite Memory: Watching the eyes of the boys when they first watched the Main Street Electrical Parade was something I hope to never forget! They were so excited to wave at the Dwarfs, Pete and his dragon, Smee and of course Mickey and Minnie! It was worth every minute of the wait time! They still talk about it and it is a “must do” for all our trips.
Favorite Adult Activity: I’ve had two Girls Trips to WDW and both were to participate in the Run Disney events. The first was for the Princess Half Marathon and the second was for the Wine and Dine Half. I can tell you the in’s and out’s for making these events stress free and fun. The only thing I can’t do for you is train!
Disney Cruise: I have cruised many different cruise lines and by far Disney knows how to add in those special touches. My family’s first cruise was the 3night, Bahamian Cruise on Disney Dream ship. We loved every minute of it. One of my boys lost their first tooth while at Castaway Cay! Great memory. The boys’ only complain about the 3n cruise was that there was not enough time to do everything!
