I first fell in love with Disney at the age of 6 on a family vacation. Since that time,
I have been on Disney cruises, and a couple of years ago took my own family on
our first trip to Disney World. I loved watching my two girls fall in love with
Disney just like I did. I had a blast playing, eating and meeting all the
characters right along with my kids. Disney is a magical place,
no matter your age!
My favorite resort is the Polynesian. I love their Hawaiian theme throughout
the resort, and their amazing restaurant, Ohana. We had a blast taking a day
“off” from the parks and playing at the pool, which was chock full of slides
and water falls, and even a beachy area to swing and build sandcastles! We
could see Cinderella’s Castle from our room- such a neat reminder that we
were somewhere special. Also, the convenience of being on the monorail is
perfect after those long days in the park.
My favorite park is, of course, Magic Kingdom. There is something for everyone and really brings home the magic of Disney. We all had our favorites that we had to do more than once- mine was Space Mountain.
My favorite memory is having breakfast with the princesses at Akershus in Epcot. My girls (age 3 and 5 at the time) were in total awe from the minute we walked in and Belle greeted us at the door. We had a delicious breakfast and the princesses came by our table (8 of them!) to meet and get pictures with my girls. They couldn’t believe that all the princesses were there just to see them!
I love all things Disney, and would love to help you plan your next vacation. I made so many wonderful memories with friends and family on all of my trips. Let me help you do the same!
