My Disney memories go all the way back to 1984 when I went to Walt Disney World for the very first time. I was 8. I remember thinking as I first walked into the Magic Kingdom that I had never been to a place so full of magic and fun….until my parents put me on Space Mountain and told me it was a slow roller coaster and I didn’t need to be afraid. Boy oh boy were they wrong! It was years before I would set foot on another roller coaster again! But today, as it turns out, it is my favorite ride because my whole family loves it, even my 6 year old who has deemed it her most favorite ride, and we have made so many wonderful memories on Space Mountain and so many of the other attractions.
It wasn’t until I was a Mom with children of my own that I fully understood the magic and wonder that Disney provides for everyone, from the very young to the very old. Disney makes you feel like a kid again which is one of the reasons I love it and keep going back time and time again. The magic never grows old. Now that I’m a Mom with three girls who love everything Disney it has been such a joy to experience Disney through their eyes. From the parks to the attractions to the characters to the cast members to the resorts to the experiences to the details to the magical moments that Disney provides, everything is done with the guest in mind. When you visit a Disney park or go on a Disney cruise, it’s not just a vacation, but a magical and memorable experience your family will be talking about for years to come.
The magic of Disney touched my family so much so that I decided I had to be a part of it and help others experience the magic and joy as well. With my experience planning my own Disney vacations along with my attention to detail my dream of becoming a travel agent came true. I now get to experience the magic every day as I help clients plan their dream vacation. There is nothing like it! I <3 my job and the magic and pixie dust I get to share with others.
