My favorite thing about Disney is how some things DON’T change!  Don’t get me wrong, all the new rides and shows they create are fantastic, but the best thing for my nostalgia-loving self is riding the same “it’s a small world” ride with my toddler and husband that I rode as a 7 year old kid and again as a teenager with my parents and little sister.  The best feeling in the world is driving under that big welcome sign, taking a picture of it, and thinking about all the previous times you’ve driven under that same sign.  Disney is all about memories for me:  reliving old memories of fantastic childhood Spring Breaks and making new memories for my own daughter to one day cherish.

Favorite Resort:  Caribbean Beach Resort and Pop Century are both great places to get a good night’s rest before powering through the parks the next day.  Really, it’s hard to go wrong when staying anywhere on Disney property!

Favorite Ride:  It’s a small world is my nostalgic favorite, but the interactive Toy Story Midway Mania and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spinare my new favorites.

Favorite Show:  Hall of Presidents was a childhood favorite, but Monsters Inc Laugh Floor is a new can’t miss show!

Favorite Restaurant:  Childhood trips were typically spent at quick service places, like Cosmic Ray’s.  Recent trips and trying out the Disney Dining Plan allowed me to see a different way to dine at Disney:  awesome table service restaurants like Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  It’s a family favorite and the chefs there were fantastic when dealing with our family’s food allergies.
